Turist information: About Carratraca
Carratraca is a very small hillside village located in the northern area of the Valle de Guadalhorce with only 900 inhabitants.
It is well known because of its spa. The spa is considered one of the best in the area because the village is home to ‘healing waters.’ The healing power of the water is scientifically proven and has been known to help in the treatment of skin ailments, rheumatism, etc.
The town is home to a bull ring which is over 2 centuries old and a beautiful historical building which is currently the seat of the town council or ‘ayuntamiento’.
